AGE GROUP INFORMATION
One of the most frequently asked questions is "How do I figure out which age group my child will play in?"
<< For the 2023-2024, look up your player's birth year in the chart to the left to determine their age group.
CALCULATING AGE GROUP
To calculate the age group for a player, you subtract the child's birth year from the year the season ends (i.e., for 2023-2024 use 2024).
Example:
- 2023-2024 (Season) – 2016 (Birth Year) = U8 (Age Group)
Rec Soccer plays in Age Groups: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U19.
- U7 & U8 players are combined in U8
- U9 & U10 players are combined in U10
- U11 & U12 players are combined in U12
- U13 & U14 players are combined in U14
- U15 & U16 players are combined in U16
- U17-U19 players are combined in U19
Competitive Soccer has single birth year age groups
