Registration is now open for the Fall 2026 Season. Please read through the following information for important updates for the upcoming season.

 

 AGE GROUP CHANGES FOR THE 2026/2027 SEASON

Beginning with Recreational Registration in April of 2026 (the start of the 2026–27 season), US Soccer is moving to an August 1 - July 31 school year cycle for all age groups. This replaces the old calendar year system.

Major youth soccer governing bodies reviewed participation and education data and concluded that aligning soccer age groups with school grades helps more kids play with classmates, improves social fit, and reduces the number of “trapped players” (kids whose soccer age group doesn’t match their grade).

East Sac Soccer will allow existing teams from last season to stay together and will adjust the team's age group according to the oldest player on the team. All incoming players will be placed on a team of the appropriate age.

 

  • Players may request to play up (i.e., for an older team) - however this must be approved by the Club based on your player's developmental readiness.
  • Players may NOT play down without a valid medical reason. Requests to play down must be approved by the club and playing league.
  • Unless otherwise requested, returning players will be rostered on their prior team, if possible.
  • Teams may need to be combined if there are not enough returning players.
  • While we make every effort to place all players on a team and honor friend/coach requests...
    • Players are rostered on a first-come, first-served basis.
    • If we do not have enough players to form a team, your player may be placed on the waitlist.

Registration Requirements

  • Please complete the Registration form by click the "Register Now" button
  • A valid birth certificate must be uploaded during the registration process
  • A photograph of the player must be uploaded
    • Please do not upload a photo with a hat or sunglasses
    • The photo will be used for game cards to identify your player
  • Please read and sign the attached waivers during the registration process
  • Payment must be completed prior to placing your player on a team

 

Registration Fees

  • U5/6
    • Early Registration (4/1 to 5/15): $130
    • Late Registration (post 5/15): $150
  • U7-U19
    • Early Registration (4/1 to 5/15): $150
    • Late Registration (post 5/15): $175


Uniforms

East Sac Soccer will begin a new uniform cycle in 2026. All new players will need a uniform set.

You will receive more information about how to order your player's uniforms after they've been placed on a team.

Please indicate your player's 3 number preferences during the registration process. Numbers will be assigned by the club, and we'll do our best to get your player their favorite number.
